FIRST, we're gonna be a -little- different than the other prides. More realistic. You see, we all know that in REAL LIFE male lions are huge stuck up snobs that go around being lazies. I pity the the females cause they're stuck with them the whole day so I'm making this pride democratic (lol).

1: No alpha male. God, where did the idea of alpha lions come from? Alpha is wolves.

2: We're having much different ranking system:

Ke: The top lion. Can be a male or female but remember - just because your lion is UP there doesn't mean their mate is gonna be UP there too. You get to boss EVERYONE around though if you get too pushy, everybody else is gonna team up on you.

You can also start hunts (meat killing) though you yourself don't have to participate in this. When you do, you're up first or after somebody who you appoint.

Ne: The person who the Ke can trust. The second in command. You can boss around too but you still can't go against the Ke.

You can also start hunts though you won't have as much control over the other lions.

Se: Tracker. You track the meat. During hunts, if the target is far away, you're allowed to take lead.

3: Let's say you're Ke rank and your name is Shiori. Than your full rank will be Shiori-ke. Same as the other ranks. If you don't know one of the three rankers well, you must adress them with their ranks. Sometimes, even when you know them you should.

4: Ranks are earned, not claimed.

5:When hunting animals, the gaurantee of a kill isn't one hundred percent and be realistic. I mean really - two lions against one zebra isn't gonna cut it.

Sadly, most prey are faster than lions or at least better at dodging. Lions are better built for things such as running in short bursts of speed that fade in less than a second and side tracking.

Pride Name: Sayonara Pride / No Hope Pride (they mean the same thing)

Camp description: It's such a horrid wasteland that I wanna cry. Apparantly, it used to be a rich woodland before eventually fading into a savanna. Now, the savanna is dying out to so we have a group of lions who are trapped together in this near desert area.

Water isn't a problem really - there is a well dug long ago by featherless ostriches, akways filled with water. The trouble is the fading prey.

Pride History: In this dying land, hundreds of animals have died. Because of this, there are rumors of ghosts. The ghosts represent the angry land and crying dead. The legend is that if you hear them there will be no rain for one year.

At noon, no lions are allowed to wander for fear of meeting the ghosts. Because of the everlasting changes, the name of the pride has changed multiple times starting from "House of Leaves" to "TradeWinds".

Because of the obvious doom, the lions are rather cynical.

Territory Type: A Savana nearing its end.

Territory Names and descriptions: (at least 4)

1: Hollow: Flat lifeless dirt. I can't exactly get more descriptive than this

2: Heaven: Around noon, going in a mile radius of this place is absolutely banned. Other than that, remember those photos of those huge sand dunes in deserts. Yeah. This is the dead land infinetly surrounding the camp. No escape from this death land.

It got its name from the way the sin hits the sand. It makes it shine, dazzling some lions into walking there.

3: God's Hill: This is a immeasurable pile of boulder. It's so high that it passes the clouds to the point where you can't even see the top. No lion has ever come up and reeturned - though quite a few corpses have managed to tumble down.

There's a legend that one day, the land will be overtaken by death and the only escape would be the rocks which lead to heaven.

Other than that, the boulders at the very top have moss growing on them that lions can feed on during starvation and drought.

4: Grave: Suprise! Grave is NOT a place where something yucky is buried but a huge tree - aka the last tree. All the lions stay here as it's the only shade.

The name is from the fact that without doubt, all the lions will die here in the end, under the remains of the tree.

The Reason Why you would like to make a Pride: (there isn't any right or wrong answer for this one but I can kinda tell when people are trying to make things sound really nice and buttered up.):

To prove to everybody that not everything is happy. And even when the thing aren't happy, it doesn't mean the actual world can't be. The woman in Africa were given rights by the white man but were they truly happy? Take a look at a history book not influenced by white society and you'll find the truth.
